About the Summit

Ethical Finance ASEAN 2026, themed “Financing Our Shared Prosperity,” delivered in partnership with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) tackled two critical and timely themes: 1) the region’s evolving geoeconomic positioning; and 2) the growing imperative to integrate social inequality considerations into financial decision-making for shared prosperity.

Expert speakers delved into the latest sustainability regulations shaping markets across ASEAN, while also challenging established conventions in Islamic stock screening as expectations and standards evolve.

This year’s summit also spotlighted the Philippines’ incoming ASEAN Chairmanship and its theme, “Navigating Our Future Together.” EF ASEAN championed a shared commitment to responsible investment, regional cooperation, and actionable solutions.  Through high-level dialogue and practical insights, the summit highlighted how sustainable finance can drive inclusive economic growth and strengthen environmental stewardship, turning ambition into impact across the region.
