The first panel discussion of the summit was moderated by Dame Susan Rice (GEFI) and included Gita Sabharwal (UN Indonesia) and John Pang (The Belt and Road Initiative Caucus for Asia Pacific)

Current Financial Trends

Omar Shaikh (GEFI) moderated the final panel of session 1 looking at Current Financial Trends, with panellists Yu Ishihara (MSCI) and Suraya Sani (Bank Negara Malaysia).

Session 2

COP Presentation: From Baku to Belem - Implications for ASEAN

Session 2 opened with a COP presentation from Richard Folland, Head of Policy and Engagement, Carbon Tracker Initiative looking at the implications for Southeast Asia and the importance of multilateralism.

Collaborative Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity Crises

The Fireside on Collaborative Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity Crises was moderated by Amy Clarke (Tribe Impact Capital) and included perspectives from Tata Mustasya (Greenpeace International) and Ed Tongson (WWF Philipinnes)

Investing in ASEAN – Perspectives from Global Financial Institutions

The penultimate panel looked at Investing in ASEAN from the perspective of global financial institutions. The discussion was moderated by Amanda Young (GEFI) and included Diana Tang (ING) and Adrian Rimmer (LSEG)

Islamic Finance and Sustainability

The final fireside was moderated by Stella Cox (DDCAP Group) and included an interview with Charles Haresnape (Gatehouse Bank) and remarks from Ashraf Gomma Ali (MBSB)

Closing Remarks

Datuk Yvonne Chia closed the summit, summarising the key points from each session.
